THEORETICAL BASIS OF DETERMINING THE CONTENT OF THE CONCEPT “ACTIVE CIVIC POSITION OF YOUTH”

The article highlights the theoretical foundations of defining content concept “Active civic position youth” in relationship such categories as “citizen”, “citizenship”, “activity”, and “position”. For this purpose, author analyzed a number normative documents related to national-patriotic education, establishment national identity, formation an active attitude, well scientific works domestic thinkers, philosophers, figures, scientists, etc. These provide carried-out analysis studied main approaches study phenomenon. Citizenship is interpreted by level consciousness development, moral quality individual, his worldview, which determined awareness belonging specific country; rights responsibilities regarding state institutions; subjective qualities manifested during performance social role functions, are basic for society. Civic activity set knowledge, abilities, skills, motives, willful efforts, inner desire activity, aimed at strengthening existing socio-political order definition position” presented system value orientations, attitudes individual society, state, nation, himself citizen, established component internal structure expresses stable motives individual’s demonstrate commitment values principles Constitution Ukraine, socially significant activities purpose realization personal values, rights, freedoms duties.
